Another sharp and skilled mind has joined PMG’s growing lineup of B2B marketing pros.
The organization recently welcomed Catherine Magoffin to its leadership team as the new director of client services. She brings more than 15 years of strategic leadership at several digital agencies, Demandbase, Xerox, HP, and other leading organizations in tech, finance, and telecommunications. In that time, she’s built expertise in account based marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, and account strategy.
PMG: What are the top two reasons you decided to bring your knowledge and talent to PMG?
Catherine: Working with a great team is reason number one for me! Second, I’m excited about the unique opportunity for B2B marketers to activate excellent B2B and ABM experiences. With sophisticated B2B MarTech capabilities, marketers are equipped to deliver relevant, contextual experiences that offer value at the right point in the buyer’s journey. This opportunity is ideally aligned with PMG’s strong background in B2B and ABM. PMG is an exciting place to be as B2B marketing gets more sophisticated and personalized across the buyer’s journey!
PMG: What services and verticals are you most excited about?
Catherine: With my background across the client side, agency side, and SaaS technology realm, as well as B2B and ABM, it’s incredibly tough to pick a favorite here. First and foremost, understanding a client’s business challenges and aligning to bring marketing strategy and activation plans together to engage and convert customers is always exciting. For me, this starts with data-driven strategy. Next comes activation across the marketing mix and considering all options, level of effort, and expected ROI to build campaigns and initiatives that deliver measurable results. Working with SaaS technology organizations is always exciting, as they are innovators and have great opportunities to engage and convert new customers.
PMG: What are the most relevant professional experiences you bring to client work?
Catherine: Building client partnerships to focus on activating B2B marketing strategy and defining creative ways to deliver the right message at the right place and time.
PMG: Tell us about your life outside the office.
Catherine: I love living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy the local culture, live music, the food scene, and just chilling in my neighborhood walking my mini-Aussie, Milly. I volunteer on the Girls Inc. PNW marketing committee and as a Dress for Success speaker, giving back to the community and boosting resources for girls and women locally. I also enjoy travel adventures, from the coast of Oregon to the coast of Spain and beyond!
